About My Practice
Erin Osanna-Barba, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), #101251
I have over 23 years of experience with crisis intervention, interpersonal violence, complex trauma, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder through work as a Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Counselor, Crime Victim’s Advocate within the criminal court system, and Director of a sexual assault prevention and response program on a college campus. I’ve also worked as a primary therapist at an outpatient eating disorder treatment center. These professional experiences have helped me to become skilled at treating the impacts of trauma on relationships, physical health, professional/academic careers, ability to trust, and overall emotional wellbeing.
I am straight forward, interactive, and use compassion and empathy to support and challenge clients. I am genuine with a sense of humor and will work with you to achieve your goals. Whether you are looking for short-term and results driven therapy or taking the time to delve into past trauma, I will be there for you.
I am passionate about supporting clients who are taking the brave step to make the changes they want to make on their path to wellness. I respect my clients for entrusting me in the therapeutic process. I look forward to providing the opportunity for you to explore your thoughts, values, and past experiences and learn the skills necessary to cope with life’s stressors.
